This excursion is more than just a performance – it is a professional showcase that supports curriculum, inspires student growth, and produces tangible outcomes. Each school leaves with a filmed and edited recording of their performance and the finale, ideal for assemblies, community events, social media, and marketing.
Practicalities are simple: the venue is fully accessible, bus drop-off is available on George Street, and a complete risk management pack (including WWCC and insurance details) will be provided to schools in January 2026. Teachers remain responsible for supervision under their usual excursion ratios.
Each school is asked to bring one prepared song to perform on stage. To support this, schools provide us with sheet music and a backing track, which we will chart for our professional band. After the event, the school will receive the professionally prepared arrangement as a resource to keep.
For the finale number, we will provide sheet music and learning tracks ahead of time. Students are not expected to have mastered the piece before the excursion — they simply need to be familiar so that we can polish it together during the workshops.
This program is directly aligned with The Australian Curriculum: The Arts (Years 7–10).
Students experiment with and manipulate sound and musical conventions (ACAMUM094) during the vocal workshop, where they develop harmony, ensemble singing, and aural skills. By preparing a song in advance and performing it live, they plan, organise and present performances (ACAMUM095). Feedback and the Q&A allow them to reflect and evaluate their work (ACAMUR097).
Students extend fundamental movement skills into sequences (ACADAM009) and explore expressive possibilities (ACADAM013) during the choreography workshop. They rehearse and perform movement sequences demonstrating technical and expressive skills (ACADAM011) and evaluate their own and others’ performances (ACADAR012), especially when watching peer schools.
Students strengthen Collaboration and Personal and Social Capability through ensemble performance, choreography, and live performance. They also develop Critical and Creative Thinking by applying feedback, solving performance challenges, and combining multiple art forms in a single presentation.

The 60 Four was formed in 2015 in a South Australian high school music classroom. We were just students with an idea — to recreate the harmonies of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
That idea grew into Australia’s Best Tribute Act, now touring nationally and internationally with choreography, live band, and original arrangements.
